DYLAN
Dylan's the one behind the counter who actually knows what that fly in your box is supposed to imitate. Rods, reels, flies, technique — if it's got to do with getting a fish to eat, he's your guy. He also runs our free fly tying classes at the shop, so if you've never sat down at a vice before, that's exactly where to start.
Guided Trips and Floats
We are lucky enough to call these guys our friends. Here is a list of the fishing guides we recommend, and if you want to break up the fishing with kayaking or a float down the river we can hook you up as well.
Come on Down
There's a bend in the river not far below the shop where the water slows and goes glass-clear over the gravel. Regulars call it their spot, even though everybody's spot is somebody else's too. That's the thing about the Hiwassee - cold, steady, and generous enough that there's room for all of us...
