JT's run the counter at Reliance Fly & Tackle long enough that he doesn't blink anymore when the shop's other co-owner shows up smelling like pipe tobacco and cedar. Nobody remembers exactly when Sasquatch got a say in how things are run around here - somewhere between raiding the biscuit sandwiches and rearranging the fly bins by "vibe" - but by now it's just how the place works. JT handles the parts that require actual paperwork. Sasquatch handles morale, unsolicited opinions on tippet strength, and apparently, contract negotiations.

This year the two of them are cooking up the next fly tying contest together, which mostly means JT is doing the organizing and Sasquatch is doing the judging — dry flies only, on principle, and he will not be talked out of it. Fish Camp tying nights are still every 4th Wednesday, vices and materials welcome, drinks on the house, though attendance has gotten a little more interesting since he started showing up to "supervise." And come Saturday, when the music's going on the deck, you can usually find both of them somewhere near the back, arguing about the setlist.
